You say Kevala will save me money, but how?

Inefficiency is expensive, we know you know that. We believe that we are leading the industry when it comes to leveraging technology to schedule your own team with ease and fluidity. We offer our scheduling and time reporting software for free, and charge a competitive fee for access to our highly qualified healthcare staff when you’re in need. By using Kevala you can say goodbye to bloated, out of date, expensive software and try us for free. I’m going to say free one more time!

Why should I go with Kevala over a traditional agency?

Traditional agencies have left a bad taste with most facilities – that’s part of why we got into this business in the first place. We are friendlier to work with, our software is easier to use, and our staff is treated well and thoroughly vetted. Our team is made up of highly-qualified professionals who are always compliant, and are happily choosing to work with us and with you.

Can I talk to someone before signing up?

Are your caregivers credentialed?

Of course! We only hire the best healthcare providers and a big part of that is verifying credentials, background checking, and staying compliant. We manage all of that for our staff, and that’s one of the reasons providers love working with us. We also make it easy for you to check every Kevala team member yourself with our in-depth binder feature, which shows all credentials, licenses, and skills testing.

What if I decide I don’t like Kevala?

Kevala is a work in progress. As an early startup we have big dreams that our tech platform isn’t quite matching up with yet. But we’re working hard and getting better every day – and it’s all in the hopes that we’ll make our healthcare team and our clients happy. If we’re not making you happy, we’d love to hear more (hello@kevala.care) – we believe our community can help us improve our product. However, we’ll never stop you from leaving Kevala – you’re free to go whenever you want (but we will miss you!)

How is Kevala different than a traditional agency?

Team Kevala believes in empowering you to make your own choices – we provide you data-driven tools to help our team find the best fit for jobs, shifts, and rates. We help you with the hard stuff, like negotiating, compliance, and onboarding, so you can focus on picking your favorite work and controlling your own schedule. We also take less of the cut than a traditional agency, because we want to pay you higher than anyone else – we’re hoping you’ll stick with us for the long run.

What if I decide I don’t like Kevala?

Can I work both contract and per diem?

Yes! We want our providers to leverage Kevala to customize and control their schedules. We believe you should be able to work the hours you want and make the most money you can – with Kevala, you can mix and match contracts with per diem shifts on the side, lots of our providers choose that route and make up to 30% more money that way.

Why can’t I see the exact pay rate before getting an offer?

We don’t show you the pay rate because we don’t know the exact pay rate yet – we get ballpark figures from our facility partners. When you apply for a job through Kevala and get accepted, we negotiate the highest salary on your behalf – and since every nurse and every job is different, we try not to make false promises. You can set your expected rate within the Kevala app, and that gives us the ground floor for our negotiation – you can trust that we won’t negotiate below that figure.

How often will I get paid?

We are proud to say that we pay our team every week. Reliable paychecks are a necessity, and we won’t compromise on that.
